I just added three new sections to PrimeSkype.com: Groups, Forums and Consulting marketplace.

Groups is really good way to connect people with same interests, now you can start new forums and share skype public chats within group.

Join some exiting groups of create your own and invite your friends.

You able to post new forums topics and skype public chats to the particular group, or just general topics to allow any primeskype users to reply.

If topic belongs to some group, only group members can reply.

Consulting marketplace - we started as just directory for skype prime users and service buyers was able to find consultants.

Now buyer can post consulting jobs to allow interested people apply.

To post something(group, forums, chats) you of course should be logged in, after login new menu items will be available.

Try it and post your feedback, it will help test and improve service.

Now you are able to be in touch with new friends from our network.

What you need is only to find profile in our network, send new Invitation to join as described on image below.

When requested member will answer your invitation you are will be automatically connected.

After that you will see your friend’s profile in “Connections” section.

You could also try to find new friends via “Skype” directly, but everyone know that web is best place to do that - and I’m working to make this site good place to make friends on the web

Hello PrimeSkypers and Skypers at all

New feature is implemented -messaging system.

In account now exist link called “inbox” where you are could send/view/delete messages and manage notification settings.

Three options available -

1. immediate notification
2. hourly
3. daily

With first option you will get notified immediately when message was sent.

With other options you will get email digest contained all messages you received by last hour/day.

Try it to help us testing this new feature. I will be glad if you will send you first private message to me.

Your vote will help us to improve usability/look&feel and of course will help to fix possible bugs .

This weekend I have deployed new changes to our site.

I think new look is better and navigation is more intuitive then in older version.

Also, profile editing now is more easy because we placed all main personal info fields on one page.

Personal photo/userpic now visible on “personal information” edit profile page which I think will force many users to change it from default to highlight profile in skype prime directory of users directory.

Registration process now is more clear because I have removed not necessary fields like “address”. Such fields is not required and could be filled in profile page later.

One of main changes is blog stylization. Our blog now have same style as whole site and blog link placed in main navigation menu (which changed too).

Now “featured profiles” will be shown in random order on home page of the site.

What “featured” mean? Fill your “Profile title ” and “about you” fields, select categories at right side and upload you photo or userpic.

So, go ahead and polish your profile to appear on home page.

I’m very glad to say - We have been released! Our site is on the new beta stage now.

We worked hard and delivered some new features. Now Primeskype.com offers not only skype prime directory but skype public chats directory either. So, you will be able to post your skype prime services advertisings and your public chats links.

Please register or login to our site and checkout “Contribute” tab where you can create several prime services/public chats advertising.

And at this tab you can also send invitations to your friends.

I have been asked: “Can I create several advertisings if I offer several prime services?” - with this version you could do this.

I have set a limit to create 2 adv. for prime services and 4 public chats adv. I think it is sufficient for most of users, but if you need more - contact me and we could discuss why you need more and I will increase the limit for you.

Below I will list some of the new added features -

1. The site was redesigned because using the old design it was difficult to contain more info. That’s why we have implemented the tabbed structure.
2. Skype public chats directory was implemented.
3. We added new fields in user profile such as :
   • Birth Day (calendar control)
   • Time zone
   • Available from/Available to
   • Receive news
   • WYSIWYG editor for objective field
   • New userpic backend - now the upload image is easier.
